With more than 15 years experience in hospitality, after completing the Culinary Arts program at VCC, Gregory Bowen Saez has worked his way through various kitchens on the unceded lands of the Coast Salish Peoples, known as Vancouver, including The Teahouse in Stanley Park, Homer St. Cafe and Bar, Four Winds Brewing Co., and Livia Cafe. Drawing from his Chilean heritage, Refugio Parrilla focuses on charcoal grilled cooking and inspiration from all Latin cuisines, featuring an ever changing, farm to table, seasonal menu using local suppliers.
